This map is based on the May 1906 version and is an interesting contrast to the much sparser 1912 Reprint.

The Grand Canyon Forest Reserve was declared in 1893, the Grand Canyon Game Preserve in November 1906, the Grand Canyon National Monument n 1908 and Grand Canyon National Park was created in February 1919.
