Baboquivari Peak Wilderness and Coyote Mountains Wilderness Wilderness Management Plan

Created by Charles Miles on 1/13/2021. Updated on 3/24/2024.

The Wilderness Management Plan, Environmental Assessment and Decision Record for the Baboquivari Peak Wilderness and Coyote Mountains Wilderness.

Finalized in October 2012. For readers of this site I suspect that much of the plan is actually not that interesting - however it was encouraging to see public access issues included in the document and included in the proposed actions (p. 37):

Objective 3. Public Availability. Provide for a diversity of primitive, unconfined, recreational opportunities by: Securing one legal public access route for Baboquivari Peak Wilderness, and Securing up to two legal public access routes for Coyote Mountains Wilderness.
