I haven't read all of this yet but I have enjoyed looking thru it so far! I found this while researching destinations around the South Bass trail thru a post on the Kaibab Journal site - Mystic Spring on way to Huitzil Route.
Of course some of the language and references are dated - but I had a little laugh about how familiar that feel of exploration, research, writing and photography is here - easy to forget that you are almost always following in someone's footsteps...
